About Puffafish Jewellery

Puffafish Jewellery came about in 2003 after the arrival of my second child.  Not wanting to return to the office I decided to experiment with different craft mediums.  I found that beads became somewhat of an addiction with their colour, form, texture and enormous variety, but what to do those beads.....With the right tools and lots of trial and error, my imagination and creativity ran wild.  Now beads and jewellery are my passion.

 In the following years I developed a love of unusual artisan made lampwork beads and my passion for lampwork engulfed me so much I had to learn this art for myself, with the desire to create unique beads for my own jewellery design.  I took to the torch after a lesson with the brilliant Manda Muddimer in April 2007.  Now, after lots of practice, practice, practice I produce my own lampwork beads, each one a tiny little piece of glassy art.

I take my inspiration from many places but mostly from my beautiful, often dramatic surroundings on the North Cornwall coast, between Bodmin Moor and the sea. 

Now all the pieces are designed and handcrafted by me in my studio on the edge of Bodmin Moor in beautiful North Cornwall, I can`t get more inspiring than that!!  Please enjoy the website and my designs, should you have any questions or would like to commission any special pieces, feel free to contact me.
